Don’t be so eager to believe everything you’re told

Confirmation biases are behind the main resistances to change. And we are all affected, whether we like it or not. From the moment we are convinced of something, the brain takes shortcuts: it highlights everything that will confirm our belief and minimize everything that undermines it… It’s a trap to take into account for oneself and for others.
